By engaging our services, you acknowledge having reviewed and understood our Terms and Conditions and Policies

An essential aspect of your experience is carefully reviewing all communications, including emails and text messages, provided by our team. These messages contain vital information regarding your reservation and parking arrangements. Please ensure the accuracy of the contact details you provide. If any changes are required, kindly inform us promptly.


GUEST SERVICES:

The Front Desk- is operational daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Guests must be at least 21 years old to make a reservation and must present a valid photo ID at check-in.

Children- aged twelve and above are welcome, and must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian. An additional fee of $35.00 applies per extra guest, regardless of age.

Pets- Unless by special arrangement, pets are not allowed on the premises. However, ADA-qualified service dogs are an exception as required by law. It is important to note that Florida has laws against misrepresentation of service animals, with penalties including fines of $500 and up to 60 days of imprisonment.

Emergencies- In case of emergencies, guests will receive a dedicated contact number upon arrival for immediate assistance. It is crucial to inform the on-call operator promptly about any emergencies for quick resolution. Please be aware that this emergency line is reserved strictly for urgent matters, as room service concludes after 2:00 pm.

Housekeeping- services are available daily until 2:00 pm. To request room cleaning, please indicate your needs upon arrival, during breakfast, or by using the room service indicator on your door.

Late Reservations- phone inquiries will be accommodated from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Third-Party Reservation- such as those made through (Booking.com) etc, may involve immediate card charges. It is important to understand their policies, which may differ from ours.
Discounts: A $15.discount is offered to Active Military guests. Call for details restrictions apply.

Occupancy- two guests per room, for rooms with more occupancy availabilty an additional charge 0f $35.00 will apply for more then two guests regardless of age.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT:

Check-in-begins at 3:00 pm.

Early check-in- incurs a $10 fee; for more information, please contact us.

Late check-in- is available after 6:00 pm; kindly notify us in advance for self-check-in instructions. Please note that off-site parking may not be guaranteed late in the evening.

Lock Codes- you will receive a 4-digit code for front door entrance and to access you room.

Check-out time - is at 11:00 am.

Late check-out- not available

Early check-outs- or absence at breakfast, please inform our staff. It is your responsibility to confirm your breakfast attendance upon arrival or by responding to our arrival-day text message. Failure to communicate may result in a $15.00 fee per person.


Parking- each reservation includes one parking space at a nightly rate of $10.00. Please note that parking availability is limited, with specific restrictions in place:

Designated parking spaces are reserved for room reservation.

While one parking space is allocated per reservation, parking is not obligatory, and you have the liberty to park at your discretion and risk.

If you opt to use our parking facilities, please park in your assigned spot as communicated at check in, via email or text. Once parked, we cannot guarantee space availability if you leave your parking space assigned. Failure to utilize your designated space may result in towing, for which we cannot be held accountable or responsible.
A parking pass will be issued for offsite assigned parking space at one of our parking lots. Please make sure you are parked in the correct parking space assigned. Place your parking pass on your dashboard where is visible. ***It is your responsibility to return the parking pass to front desk at check out time. If the parking pass is lost or not retuned a fee of $250 will be applied for replacement of lost parking pass.

Breakfast - Our European Style Continental Breakfast includes a yogurt parfait with seasonal fruit, egg, bacon or sausage, croissant, and a glass of orange juice or coffee for a daily rate of $15.00 per guests. Breakfast is served in the main dining area from 8:30 to 9:30 each morning. For guests who did not purchase breakfast with your reservation you may purchase breakfast upon arrival. We ask that you kindly inform us at check- in or via text message the night before you plan to join us for breakfast.


Retail and Special Packages - Visit our website at www.innoncharlotte.com to explore and purchase retail items or special packages alongside your reservation. You must order special packages 48 hours in advance.

No Smoking or Vaping - Smoking, vaping, candles, parties, or uninvited guests are not permitted on the premises.

WIFI - Complimentary WIFI is accessible in each room, with login details onback of your room key.

Quiet Hours - Quiet time at the Inn is observed from 10:00 pm to 9:00 am. Please maintain a noise-free environment during this period. Violators will be removed by law enforcement without prior warning or refund.


PAYMENT POLICIES:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express to secure a reservation. Credit cards for standard reservations will be charged 14 days before arrival, with the guest assuming responsibility for the total reservation cost.

Group reservations will be charged 21 days before arrival, and private venue reservations 60 days before arrival, with guests accountable for the entire reservation cost. Deposit fees are charged upon signing the event contract.

Gift Certificates- must be purchased at The Hemingway House Inn only purchased and will be accepted as payment, collected at the time of purchase, no other certificates are accepted.

Additional cleaning fees- for excessive mess (e.g., wine, makeup, food spills) will incur a minimum charge of $95 plus any necessary costs.

Excessive trash requiring additional cleaning will be billed a minimum of $55.

Damaged items- damaged linens or amenities will result in a $275 per item replacement fee, charged immediately to the guest's credit card. We kindly request that our property be treated with care akin to one’s own.

Replacement of Emergency Keys if given: a fee of $400. will be applied to your reservation for lost or damage key.


CANCELATION POLICY:

In the event of changes to your travel plans necessitating a reservation cancellation, kindly inform us promptly.

Under our Standard Policy,a fee of $75. wll be charged for cancelation of reservations prior to 14 days. Cancellations made with in 14 days timeframe require responsibility for the full reservation,and will be non-refundable irrespective of the reason, including concerns regarding Coronavirus or weather conditions.

Please be aware that specific rates and events may have stricter cancellation policies. Refer to your reservation details or contact the hotel for any inquiries related to cancellations.

For reservations made through Third Party Booking Engines- such as (booking.com,) we are not liable for non-refundable charges or fees. It is advised to review their cancellation policies.

Should you need to cancel due to emergencies, please contact us immediately for assistance.

Weather and Hurricane Policy- while we cannot be held accountable for weather-related disruptions to your trip, if an evacuation order is issued within 24 hours of your confirmed reservation due to a hurricane warning, you can reschedule your stay at no extra cost.


Early departures or late arrivals- are considered cancellations and fall under the same policy. This also applies to the use of Gift Certificates for reservation deposit or payment.

Full charges will be applied to the credit card for unclaimed accommodations, non-arrivals, and no-shows.

COVID-19 Requirements: Due to the unpredictable nature of the situation, no cancellations are accepted within 14 days of arrival. Information on official government proclamations can be found at:

LARGE GROUP CANCELLATIONS:

Groups reserving rooms must make a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total reservation.

For reservations booking all rooms for a special event, termed "Private Venue Reservation," the entire Inn must be reserved and paid for in full 30 days before the event, with a non-refundable deposit required at booking.

Gift Certificates - Available for purchase exclusively through us; we do not participate in external gift certificate programs.


Credit Card Security:

Guests' information and credit card details are securely stored and processed.

Travel Insurance:

While we cannot control unforeseen travel disruptions, we recommend considering travel insurance to cover cancellation fees. Various companies, such as Travel Guard, Insure My Trip, and TravelInsurance.com, offer this service. Additionally, AAA, AARP, and select credit cards may provide coverage.

If cancellations fall within the stipulated dates and rebooking is unsuccessful, travel insurance may reimburse cancellation fees.

Children: We welcome all travelers of ages 14 and over. Children must be acompanied by their parents or guardian at all time. (special arrangements can be made at time of reservation for younger children) Pets: No pets allowed unless. (*ADA Qualified service animals allowed as required by law.) or prior arrangments are made with staff.
