Driving Directions
Driving From Points North:
Take I-95 to Exit 318 (SR 16) and head east on SR 16. At US 1 turn right, following US 1 South to the traffic light at W Castillo Drive. Turn left onto W. Castillo Drive and follow it to the dead-end at Ripley's: Believe It or Not! museum. Turn right and stay to the right, watching out for pedestrians—they have the right of way in St Augustine. Drive past the fort and bayfront en route to Cathedral Place (at the Bridge of Lions), and turn right—and right again directly around the flag pole—onto Charlotte St. We are on the second block to your left.
Driving on A1A from Points North:
Take A1A south from Ponte Verdra. At Villano Beach, turn right onto the bridge to the mainland. Follow A1A south into St Augustine and stay to the right in the city, watching out for pedestrians—they have the right of way in St Augustine. Drive past the fort and bayfront en route to Cathedral Place (at the Bridge of Lions), and turn right—and right again directly around the flag pole—onto Charlotte St. We are on the second block to your left.
Driving From Points South:

Driving on A1A from Points South:
Take A1A north from St. Augustine Beach, and as you cross the Bridge of Lions take your second (immediate) turn right onto Charlotte St (at the flag pole). We are on the second block to your left.
Parking
Please read the emails we send you. It has more detailed parking instructions individualized to your room. All parking is offered as complementary at the owner's discretion, and at the driver's own risk. We strongly suggest that you drive your smallest car. The streets are narrow and parking is very tight. We recommend the public parking garage for any extra-large, special, or valuable vehicles.
Off-Site Parking
Only one room parks off-site, and that's the Pilar room (#5). Look at the full name of your room to see where you park. Only download the off-site parking information if you are in the Pilar room. We will send you emails with more details.
Did you book the #5 Pilar room and now you're looking for off-site parking for space number #4? Good...
1. From the Inn (54 Charlotte St,) continue going North on Charlotte St.
2. Turn left at the next stop sign on Hypolita St.
3. Count 4th building on the left, then turn left into the alley
4. The 4th space on your right is #4. Look for the sign. ONLY park in #4. (Yes, Room five parks in space four)
On-Site Parking
All the other rooms have an on-site parking space behind the inn. Swing wide on Charlotte Street and pull down the driveway between Hemingway House B&B and the Inn on Charlotte. Park to the left side in your numbered space only, be sure to pull all the way up and center your car in the space. Come ring the doorbell at Hemingway House B&B to check-in.
!!! Warning -There's no extra parking at or around the Inn. Unattended cars will be towed and please DO NOT stop in the street—it's dangerous !!!
